Acropolis Rally - 2nd Day - 1st Loop: Ogier leads Hyundai duo, Neuville drops 5 places



At the end of the morning loop of Friday, Sebastien Ogier is still leading Acropolis Rally with Ott Tanak and Adrien Fourmaux following him.

Sebastien Ogier stormed into the Acropolis lead at the end of Stage 4 as he set the fastest times in SS2 and SS4. Moreover, the Frenchman had a front left puncture in SS4.

Ott Tanak moved up to second place at the end of the morning loop and lost many positions in Stage 2 where he reported understeer with his i20N. He suffered from a front left puncture in Stage 4, but he managed to get two places back.

Adrien Fourmaux does the 2-3 for Hyundai Motorsport and set the fastest time in SS3 while he was ahead of Ogier for 0,8 seconds at the end of SS3.

Sami Pajari is in fourth place overall and the blocks off the top of the front left tyre were off in Stage 4.

Kalle Rovanpera completes the top five and reported oversteer at the end of SS3.

Thierry Neuville was leading Acropolis Rally from Stage 2 to 3, but he lost five places in Stage 4 as he had a front left puncture. However, he is 2,1 seconds behind Rovanpera.

Elfyn Evans follows the Belgian driver for eight seconds and stayed out of trouble on Friday morning.

Gregoire Munster, Oliver Solberg and Kajetan Kajetanowicz complete the top 10.

Martins Sesks, Josh McErlean and Takamoto Katsuta are outside the top 10.

Sesks had a spin and a puncture in Stage 2 while his teammate McErlean changed a wheel on that stage and suffered from another puncture in SS4. On the other hand, Katsuta stopped to change a wheel in SS2.
