Acropolis Rally - 3rd Day - 1st Loop: Tanak consolidates his lead, Fourmaux hits trouble in SS10

At the end of Saturday morning, Ott Tanak remains out in front with Sebastien Ogier and Adrien Fourmaux following him.

Ott Tanak increased further his lead over his rival by setting the fastest time in SS8 and SS9. However, he damaged the rear spoiler in Stage 9.

Sebastien Ogier moved up to second and managed to get closer to Fourmaux at the end of SS8, but the last one was quicker than Ogier in SS9. In Stage 10, Ogier was faster than Tanak for only 0,1 seconds.

Adrien Fourmaux dropped to third position overall at the end of Stage 10 as he damaged the rear left tyre due to an impact with a stone.

Elfyn Evans does the 2-4 for Toyota Gazoo Racing and must be very happy with his place considering the fact that he opened five stages yesterday.

Takamoto Katsuta chased Munster for the fifth position and managed to overtake the last one in Stage 10.

Munster dropped to sixth overall at the end of Stage 10 and it was difficult for him to push in the morning since he had no handbrake.

Thierry Neuville stole the seventh place from Kalle Rovanpera at the end of Stage 9 despite the fact that the Belgian suffered from a rear right slow puncture and a rear left puncture in SS8 and SS9 respectively.

Josh McErlean is still outside the top 10 and hit a stone in Stage 8 resulting in damaging the driveshaft and the right rear suspension. However, he and Eoin Treacy managed to repair the Ford Puma Rally1 for Stage 9.

Martins Sesks restarted today under the SuperRally regulations.

Sami Pajari's car was not fixed by Toyota mechanics and it is expected that he will restart tomorrow under the SuperRally regulations.
