Rally Sardinia - 3rd Day: Back-to-back wins for Ogier

At the end of Sunday, Sebastien Ogier wins Rally Italia Sardegna for a fifth time in his career with Ott Tanak and Kalle Rovanpera completing the podium positions.

Sebastien Ogier wins for a second consecutive event and broke another WRC record as he has the most wins in Sardinia. He was the fastest driver in SS13 and managed to increase further his lead over Tanak today. However, Ogier lost many seconds in Powerstage and the first place from Kalle Rovanpera on the SuperSunday standings.

Ott Tanak remained second overall and was able to respond to Ogier's attack in Stage 15 where he set the fastest time.

Kalle Rovanpera does the 1-3 for Toyota Gazoo Racing WRT and was the fastest driver in SS14 and SS16.

Elfyn Evans finished in fourth place overall and must be very happy with this result considering his road position on Friday.

Takamoto Katsuta completes the top five and had a small mistake in SS14 as he stalled.

Sami Pajari dropped to seventh position as he spun an hit something in Stage 13 while he completed Stage 14 on road mode.

Thierry Neuville, Josh McErlean and Gregoire Munster remained outside the top ten.

Muntser had a spin in a hairpin 9Km into SS15.
