The organizers of Rally Japan announced the route of their event which will host the penultimate WRC round.
The recce of Rally Japan will start on Monday 3 November and will end on Wednesday 5 November. On Thursday, the crews will make some final adjustments to the car set-up as the Shakedown session will take place at Kuragaike Park. Afterwards, the fans will have the chance to get autographed cards and to watch live the superspecial stage at Toyota Stadium. The day concludes with the ceremonial start.
Τhe real rally action starts on Friday with six stages. The morning loop starts with "Inabu/Shitara" before heading to "Shinshiro" and the "Isegami Tunnel". The second pass from "Isegami Tunnel" will be the opening stage of Friday afternoon and the action concludes with "Shinshiro" which means that "Inabu/Shitara" will be the penultimate stage of the day.
Saturday includes seven stages in total. The first loop will start with "Obara" which will be followed by "Ena" and "Mt Kasagiyama". The opening stage of Saturday afternoon is the "Mt Kasagiyama". Afterwards, the cews will head to "Ena" and "Obara". The day concludes with the superspeciat stage at Toyota city.
Sunday contains six stages. The action begins with the pass from "Nukata". "Lake Mikawako" is the second stage of the day. The organizers decided to host two passes from the superspecial stage at Okazaki before the action ends with "Nukata" and "Lake Mikawako" which will be the Powerstage. At the end of Rally Japan, the ceremonial podium will take place at Toyota Stadium.
