At the end of Sunday, Sebastien Ogier wins Rally Paraguay with Elfyn Evans and Thierry Neuville following him.
Sebastien Ogier secured his fourth win of the season in Paraguay and was the fastest driver in Stage 16, but he was not able to score points in Powerstage. Furthermore, he collected only one point from SuperSunday.
Elfyn Evans managed to take back his third place from Tanak at the end of Stage 18. However, the Welshman slipped behind Tanak for 2,2 seconds at the end of SS16 as he had a spin 4.9Km into SS16 after not being able to brake on a left hander. Finally, he moved up to second at the end of Powerstage.
Thierry Neuville gained two positions and finishes third overall while he won a stage of Rally Paraguay for the first time this weekend which was the SS17. Moreover, it must be mentioned that his day did not start well as his i20N had a water leak before the start of Stage 16, but he was the fastest driver in Powerstage and at the SuperSunday standings.
Adrien Fourmaux dropped from second to fourth position at the end of Powerstage due to the rain.
Ott Tanak was third at the end of Stage 16, but he dropped two positions and completes the top five as he stopped after a water splash and got a rear right puncture in Stage 18.
Kalle Rovanpera remains sixth overall and set the fastest time in Stage 18
Sami Pajari completes the top seven.
Takamoto Katsuta finished outside the top ten and made a mistake in Stage 16 when he went straight on the second junction of SS16.
Josh McErlean and Gregoire Munster restarted under the SuperRally regulations today.
McErlean braked too late and went straight in the second junction of Stage 16. On the other hand, his teammate had an overshoot and went off the road at 17.24Km into Stage 16 while he made a second mistake today when he spun his car in Stage 17.
