At the end of Friday morning, Elfyn Evans is leading Rally Chile with Ott Tanak and Adrien Fourmaux following him.
Elfyn Evans climbed the order at the end of Stage 3 by setting the fastest time there despite the fact that he was opening the roads this morning. Moreover, he had to slow down in SS1 as he tried to avoid lots of animals.
Ott Tanak comes right behind the Welshman for 0,5 seconds while their gap was at 0,5 seconds at the end of SS2 in favor of the Estonian.
Adrien Fourmaux does the 2-3 for Hyundai Motorsport while he had a moment in Stage 1 when he went into a bank 9Km into SS1.
Sebastien Ogier gained three positions and is now fourth overall at the end of Stage 3, but the eight-time WRC Champion was struggling with his Yaris.
Thierry Neuville overtook Sami Pajari on the classification and completes the top five.
Takamoto Katsuta is behind the sixth Gregoire Munster for seven tenths of a second. The M-Sport driver had a broken gear lever towards the end of Stage 3.
Kalle Rovanpera dropped from first to ninth overall as he got a rear right puncture and lost more than one minute in Stage 3 when he ran wide and hit a bank. However, he was the fastest driver in Stage 1 and 2.
Josh McErlean is outside the top ten as he had a high speed spin 2Km into SS1 resulting in damaging the front end of his Puma.
