M-Sport Ford confirms that Martins Sesks will drive the fourth Puma Rally1 at the season finale in Saudi Arabia next month.
Sesks secured a six-rally programme with M-Sport Ford this year, but the Malcolm Wilson's team announced today that Sesks will compete with them at Rally Saudi Arabia which will be held next month. The Latvian star impressed us with his performance at Rally Latvia a year ago where he was fighting with three WRC Champions for the first place of the event. His best result for this season is the sixth place at Rally Sweden last February and will try to finish higher at Rally Saudi Arabia since this event is brand-new for everyone.
"I’m very grateful for the support and encouragement we’ve received from our sponsors and fans", Sesks said.
"We all believed the seventh round would go ahead, and now we’re heading to Jeddah to make the most of everything the WRC season can offer.
"With no opportunity for pre-event testing, we’ll need to adapt to the conditions and draw on the insights we gain from the shakedown.
"I also think the participation of Nasser Al-Attiyah, and his experience in these parts, is a real bonus for the M-Sport team".
