Mille Johansson gears up for a breakthrough WRC2 Season

Sweden’s young rally talent Mille Johansson is stepping into the WRC2 category for the 2026 season after a stellar run in the junior ranks.

In 2025, Johansson captured the Junior WRC title, showcasing remarkable speed, consistency, and tactical skill across gravel and asphalt events. His success earned him the opportunity to compete in Rally2 machinery, a significant step up in power and competition.

For 2026, Johansson will drive a Ford Fiesta Rally2 for the M‑Sport Ford World Rally Team, alongside his co‑driver Johan Grönvall. The campaign focuses on selected WRC2 rounds where Johansson can gain valuable experience against more seasoned drivers, while continuing to demonstrate his growing mastery of Rally2 cars.

At just 20 years old, Johansson combines youthful aggression with increasing technical knowledge. Having also competed in FIA European Rally Championship events, he has already adapted to powerful Rally2 cars on a variety of surfaces. The 2026 season represents a key opportunity for Johansson to cement his place among the next generation of rally stars and begin establishing himself as a regular frontrunner in WRC2.
