The organizers of Rally Portugal announced the route of their event which will be held on May 07-10.
The recce will last three days starting on Monday 04 May and ending on Wednesday 06 May. The action begins on Wednesday with the traditional shakedown in Baltar, allowing crews to fine-tune their cars ahead of the competitive start. On Thursday, the rally officially gets underway with stages in Águeda and Sever do Vouga, followed by a run towards Albergaria-a-Velha. The day concludes with a short but spectacular super special stage in Figueira da Foz, offering fans a first close-up look at the WRC stars.
Friday shifts the focus to the demanding central Portugal stages. Crews tackle classic tests in Arganil, Góis, and Lousã, all repeated in the afternoon, before heading to Mortágua. These stages are known for their narrow roads, elevation changes, and abrasive gravel surface that can punish both tyres and suspension.
Saturday is the longest and arguably most decisive leg of the rally. The route includes stages in Felgueiras, Cabeceiras de Basto, and the legendary test in Amarante, one of the longest and most demanding stages of the event. After further action in Paredes, the day concludes with the traditional super special in Lousada, where thousands of spectators gather in the rallycross-style arena.
The final day on Sunday features stages in Vieira do Minho and the iconic jumps of Fafe, which hosts the rally-ending Power Stage. With valuable bonus points awarded and the famous Fafe jump providing a dramatic backdrop, the rally traditionally reaches its climax here.
In total, the Rally Portugal 2026 includes 23 stages and 349,61 competitive kilometers.
