Croatia Rally - 3rd Day: Katsuta takes a susprising win in Croatia as Neuville goes off road in Powerstage

At the end of Sunday, Takamoto Katsuta claims a late win in Croatia with Sami Pajari and Hayden Paddon following him.

Takamoto Katsuta is the winner of Croatia Rally this year after Thierry Neuville's retirement in Powerstage and scored valuable points for Toyota as he is the top driver for the Japanese team considering what happened to Evans and Solberg on Friday.

Sami Pajari does the 1-2 for Toyota Gazoo Racing WRT and this is his third consecutive podium finish with the Yaris in 2026.

Hayden Paddon moved up to third and did the job for Hyundai as he offered valuable points to his team with his podium finish.

Josh McErlean, Oliver Solberg, Elfyn Evans and Jon Armstrong finished outside the top ten.

Solberg was the fastest driver in all stages today which means that he scored ten points from the SuperSunday standings and the Powerstage.

Adrien Fourmaux restarted under the SuperRally regulations today following his retirement in Stage 12 of Croatia Rally. Alex Coria forgot the pacenotes in Stage 18 resulting in reading them via his self phone. The drama continued for the Frenchmen as they got a front right puncture in Powerstage.

Thierry Neuville was first overall after the end of Stage 19, but he was forced to retire with a front right suspension damage in Powerstage after his going off the road.
