Rally Finland's future in Jyvaskyla confirmed until 2031

Jyväskylä will continue to serve as the home of Secto Rally Finland for another five years after the city and AKK Sports Ltd signed a new agreement securing the event's future from 2027 through 2031.

The long-term partnership provides a solid foundation for the continued growth of Finland's FIA World Rally Championship round while reinforcing its reputation as one of the calendar's most iconic and prestigious events.

"It is a great pleasure to sign this agreement during the 75th anniversary year of Rally Finland. Extending our partnership for another five years also gives us the opportunity to celebrate the rally's 80th anniversary in its home city. Rally Finland holds immense importance for Jyväskylä and its residents, making this a truly special day for the entire city," said Jyväskylä Mayor Timo Koivisto.

The agreement outlines the cooperation between the City of Jyväskylä and AKK Sports Ltd in organising the FIA World Rally Championship event. Jyväskylä will retain its role as the rally's Official Main Partner and Host City, while the event programme will continue to feature at least one spectator-friendly city stage.
