Official: Greensmith to continue with M-Sport Ford for 2022

M-Sport Ford announced today that Gus Greensmith will continue as its second driver for next season and he will have Craig Breen as his teammate.

The British driver started his WRC debut with M-Sport Ford back in 2019 and he competed with a full-time programme in 2020 while he renewed his contract for one more year after the end of season 2020 becoming the main driver of M-Sport Ford this year.

His best result of his WRC career is the fourth place at this year's Safari Rally Kenya while he finished two times in the top five in 2021 (Rally Portugal, Acropolis Rally Greece).

The announcement of his renewal for season 2022 came during the Shakedown of this weekend's Rally Monza while it is tipped that Adrien Fourmaux as well will renew his contract with M-Sport Ford.

“I’m really excited to be a part of the 2022 M-Sport Ford World Rally Team as we head into the biggest rule change in WRC history; the hybridised era", Greensmith said.

"I have been very happy with my improvements throughout the year and it means a lot to be representing the team going into 2022 where it seems that the guys and girls have done a fantastic job at creating a very competitive package".
