Neuville and Wydaeghe released from hospital after their test crash in Alsace

Hyundai Motorsport confirmed via its social media that Thierry Neuville and Martijn Wydaeghe are fine after the accident they had during their test.

The Belgian crew started today their preparation for next season's Rallye Monte Carlo and they did their debut inside the hybrid Hyundai i20N Rally1 car testing it in the snowy roads of Alsace.

However, they had to stop their test as they went off the road and eventually they ended up to a river.

After this incident, Wydaeghe injured his shoulder and it is remarkable that both of them came out safe after this crash as the car has been heavily damaged especially in the place where the cabin is located.

Finally, Neuville and Wydaeghe were immediately transferred to the hospital of Montpellier for further examination and thankfully both of them are okay.

"Hospital checks completed for Thierry Neuville and Martijn Wydaeghe", Hyundai wrote on social media.

"Both have been already released from the hospital in Montpellier".
