FIA and WRC Promoter announced today that Ypres Rally Belgium will be the ninth round of this year's World Rally Championship.
Ypres Rally Belgium hosted for a first time a WRC event in 2021 where the home hero, Thierry Neuville, won there and Hyundai did the 1-2 in that event as Craig Breen finished second overall.
This year's Ypres Rally Belgium will be held on August 18-21 and will include tarmac stages, but it is yet to be confirmed the length of the race.
Finally, it must be mentioned that Ypres Rally Belgium is considered as an iconic and a classic event of European rallies.
