Safari Rally - Shakedown: Rovanpera sets an early pace in Kenya

At the end of the Shakedown session of Safari Rally, Kalle Rovanpera was the fastest driver with Thierry Neuville and Sebastien Loeb following him.

Kalle Rovanpera tops the Shakedown times in Kenya as he set the fastest time there in his second pass from SD.

Thierry Neuville is second overall and his time was five tenths of a second slower than Rovanpera's time.

Sebastien Loeb completes the top three who makes his Safari return since his latest participation back in 2002.

Ott Tanak is in fourth position overall despite the fact that he set an equal time with Loeb. The first one was slower for some thousandths of a second than the last one.

Sebastien Ogier completes the top five and aims to repeat the victory he achieved in Kenya last year.

Takamoto Katsuta is sixth overall and was slower than Ogier for 1,8 seconds.

Elfyn Evans and Gus Greensmith set an equal time in Shakedown, but the Toyota driver is seventh as he was fastest than Greensmith for some thousandths of a second, therefore the last one is only eighth overall.

Adrien Fourmaux and Craig Breen complete the top ten.

Oliver Solberg is eleventh and said that he tries to adapt to his i20N as it has been two months since the last time he had driven it. Finally, it must be mentioned that he was the only WRC driver who ran four times from SD.
