Loeb's last WRC outing of 2022 may be in Greece

The team principal of M-Sport Ford, Richard Millener, reveals that there is a big chance for Sebastien Loeb to compete at Acropolis Rally of Greece for the last time of the season.

The French driver has participated in three rounds of this year's World Rally Championship so far and it is tipped that he will make his fourth outing with the Ford Puma Rally1 in Greece next month.

The last time that Loeb competed in Greece was back in 2012 with a Citroen DS3 WRC and was the winner of that event.

"We have an agreement in place to do a number of events this year, but with the understanding right from the start that the priority for Séb was the Cross Country Championship and with the changing around of the events after Morocco was altered, it means that Spain is not possible for Séb", Millener said.

"So we looked at some other options and Greece fitted, and we still think that could be a good opportunity for him.

"It’s another rally where you need to be fast but clever.

"It’s a rally where you need a strong car and I think we’ve got all the bits together that could hopefully find us in a good position".
