Tanak aims to end Hyundai partnership on a high note

Ott Tanak expects that Rally Japan will be a very challeging event for him considering the fact that he does not have so much information about it, but he wants to colclude his partnership with Hyundai on a high note.

Rally Japan will be the last rally for the Estonian as a Hyundai driver after a three-year collaboration with the team as the first one announced the premature termination of his contract; therefore he is available for 2023 and many things will depend on what he will do for next season.

Totally, Tanak won eight times since he joined Hyundai in 2020 and has twelve podiums while it must be mentioned that he broke the curse of the team at Rally Finland as he won this event this year.

"Rally Japan is going to be a challenging one for us because it’s a new event, so I personally don’t have too much information on what to expect, but we will gather all the info we have available with the recce and prepare for it as much as possible", Tanak said.

"After three years with Hyundai Motorsport, this is going to be my last one with them, so I hope that we can find a good feeling on the roads and finish the season and our partnership on a high note".
