Citroen confirms WRC2 programme for three drivers in 2023



Citroen Racing announced today that the team will field three C3 Rally2 cars in WRC2 class next year with Yohan Rossel and Alejandro Cachon having a full-season programme.

The 27-year old Frenchman will drive a Citroen C3 Rally2 of PH Sport and his WRC2 campaign will start from next month's Rallye Monte Carlo. Apart from this event, his plans include his participation in Croatia, Portugal, Sardinia, Estonia and Chile while his final race of the next season will be the Central Europe Rally.

Moreover, DG Sport will bring a Citroen Rally2 car for Stephane Lefebvre who is set to do a limited number of rallies in 2023. Finally, the team "Sports & You" will offer to the youngster Alejandro Cachon a seven-round programme with the French machinery for next season. The Spanish driver made his WRC2 debut in 2022 as he took part in Belgium and Spain.
