Rally Sweden - Shakedown: Rovanpera edges his compatriot Lappi for 0.1s



At the end of the Shakedown of Rally Sweden, Kalle Rovanpera dominated in this session with Esapekka Lappi and Takamoto Katsuta following him.

Kalle Rovanpera was the fastest driver in Shakedown of Rally Sweden and improved his time after his third run from it.

Esapekka Lappi comes right behind his compatriot for only one tenth of a second and in fact he was in first place overall at the end of the first pass from SD.

Takamoto Katsuta completes the top three at Shakedown classification and Rally Sweden will be his first event as a nominated driver for Toyota.

Elfyn Evans follows his teammate for six tenths of a second and managed to improve his time after his fourth run.

Craig Breen completes the top five and dropped some seconds on his first run from SD as his i20N carried a hybrid unit fault.

Thierry Neuville set the sixth fastest time and left his former teammate Ott Tanak behind for four tenths of a second. The Belgian skipped Hyundai's test for Rally Sweden as he was sick.

Pierre-Louis Loubet is in eighth place overall and this is his second time at Rally Sweden, therefore he will try to learn the stages.
