The Rally Route of Rally Croatia 2023



The organizers of Rally Croatia announced the rally route of their event for 2023 season which will host the fourth round of World Rally Championship.

More specifically, the recce will last two days (18-19 April) while the drivers will get the first taste of these tarmac roads in Okic on Thursday 20 April as the Shakedown will start in that day. Afterwards, the fans will have the chance to watch the ceremonial start which will be hosted at National and University Library in Zagreb at 18:30 local time.

The rally action will start on Friday 21 April with two passages of four stages (totally eight stages and 130,18 competitive kilometers). The opening stage of this day will be "Mali Lipovec - Grdanjci" which is included to Rally Croatia's itinerary since 2021. Afterwards, the crews will drive throughout "Stojdraga - Hartje" which will host the longest stage of the rally with 25,67 Kilometers while the following stage "Krašić - Vrškovac" remains the same as the last two years. Finally, the day will conclude with the "Pećurkovo Brdo - Mrežnički Novaki" after a one-year absence from the itinerary.

The second day of Rally Croatia includes eight stages and 116,60 competitive kilometers. The beginning stage of the day will be "Kostanjevac - Petruš Vrh" which is the ninth and 13th stage of the rally as in 2022. "Vinski Vrh - Duga Resa" is the second stage of the morning and afternoon loop and will be running earlier than it happened last season. The organizers of Rally Croatia added a brand-new stage which is named "Ravna Gora - Skrad" and its distance is almost ten kilometers. Finally, the two loops will be concluded with the "Platak" which is at Rally Croatia's since this event joined WRC.

Sunday includes two runs of two stages and the action will start with the "Trakošćan - Vrbno" which will be running for a second year in a row and will also be the penultimate stage. After the first pass from "Trakošćan - Vrbno", the drivers will compete in "Zagorska Sela - Kumrovec", a 14-Kilometer stage, which traditionally host the Powerstage since 2021.

In total, Rally Croatia of 2023 includes 20 tarmac stages and the length of the event is at 301,26 Kilometers.
