McErlean revokes his entry from Rally Croatia

The organizers of Rally Croatia announced an updated entry list for their tarmac event in which Josh McErlean is not included to it anymore.

The young Irish star had secured a WRC2 campaign with Hyundai Motorsport for this season and is one of its junior drivers of the team. He has participated only at Rallye Monte Carlo this year where he finished 15th in WRC2 Challenge class. His next outing was expected to be Rally Croatia this weekend, but eventually he decided not to compete there showing his respect to the sudden loss of his compatriot, Craig Breen. However, Rally de Portugal will be his second participation for 2023 as the organizers of the gravel event published the entry list yesterday.

Josh McErlean was very close to Craig Breen as the first one worked with the WRC start at Motorsport Ireland Rally Academy while John Rowan, the navigator of McErlean, co-drived Craig and his father Ray.
