Acropolis Shakedown is cancelled due to severe weather conditions

The organizers of Acropolis Rally anounced that the Shakedown session must be cancelled due to the severe weather conditions.

The Shakedown session was about to start at 08:01 on Thursday 7 September, but the weather conditions are very bad at central Greek area which has affected the roads. The organizers of Acropolis Rally announced earlier today that the P1 crews should have completed at least one passage from the Shakedown stage while the final two stages of the event have been shortened by ten kilometers. The heavy rains and storm have affected the recce programme as the conditions at "Pavliani" and the Shakedown stages were not in good shape which means that the crews would continue their recce for these two stages today. Finally, it must be mentioned that there are concerns about this week's WRC round as the organizers are thinking of cancelling the two passes from "Pavliani stage" and of not allowing spectators in the stages for safety reasons.
