Silly Season: Rovanpera with a partial WRC programme in 2024?

According to a German website, rallye-magazin, it is speculated that Kalle Rovanpera will not continue his full-season programme with Toyota in 2024 as he may compete in a selected number of rallies or retire.

The 23-year old has recently clinched his second title in World Rally Championship with Toyota, but his plans for next season are still unknown. It was rumored that he may join Hyundai for 2024, but the Alzenau-based team has confirmed Ott Tanak and Thierry Neuville so far. The manager of Rovanpera, Timo Jouhki, faces a challenge right now as his driver wants to slow down due to the fact that the Finn had complained about the immense stress and a certain level of exhaustion as a professional driver. It is likely for him to have a partial programme like Sebastien Ogier or to have a one-year off from competing at World Rally Championship since h has to complete the remaining period of his military services after his having broken off this in 2019 after two out to drive for Skoda Motorsport. Finally, some other rumors are saying that he may drive for Toyota in WRC and WRC2 class at the same time in 2024.
