Toyota will reveal two special editions of the new GR Yaris at Rallye Monte Carlo next week honoring the two WRC Champions.
The new GR Yaris made its world debut at Auto Tokyo Salon a week ago in which there is a brand new eight-speed Gazoo Racing Direct Automatic Transmission option with competition-standard rapid shifting. This gearbox is combined with 1.6-litre turbocharged engine with three cylinders in-line which produces maximum power of 280 hp and torque of 390 Nm. In addition to these, this new car provides a full-time all-wheel drive and new selectable drive modes with increased body rigidity and strengthened suspension. However, Toyota has yet to reveal two special editions of the new GR Yaris which will take place just before the official start of Rallye Monte Carlo. More specifically, Toyota is planning to present the GR Yaris Sebastien Ogier Edition and the GR Yaris Kalle Rovanpera Edition in Casino Square in Monaco on Thursday at 14:45 as the Japanese car brand had already brought the concept cars of these two special editions at Auto Tokyo Salon last year.
