The stewards of Rally Chile gave to Elfyn Evans a new notional time for Stage 1 which means that he has taken back his lead from Ott Tanak at the end of Friday.
Toyota and Evans requested a new notional time for the Welshman in Stage 1 which was cancelled due to safety reasons. The stewards agreed and decided to give to him a new notional time which means that he is now the new rally leader. This means that Ott Tanak drops behind Evans for three seconds before the start of the Saturday morning, but still the Estonian is in the fight for the win of Rally Chile. Apart from Evans, Adrien Fourmaux and Sami Pajari have taken a new notional time for the opening stage of Rally Chile, but of them keep their current positions. Last but not least, the stewards reexamined the times of Evans and Scott Martin for the second pass from "Pulperia" stage and made the conclusion that they mistakenly gave to them a wrong notional time on Friday morning, thus they corrected their mistake overnight.
