At the end of Sunday, Kalle Rovanpera is the winner of Rally Islas Canarias with Sebastien Ogier and Elfyn Evans following him.
Kalle Rovanpera claims his first win of the season after his domination at Rally Islas Canarias and set the fastest time on the first two Sunday stages. Ηe was the fastest driver in Powerstage and topped the SuperSunday standings.
Sebastien Ogier remains second overall and managed to take a stage win in SS17.
Elfyn Evans completes the podium positions for Toyota Gazoo Racing WRT.
Takamoto Katsuta does the 1-2-3-4 for the Japanese team.
Adrien Fourmaux's fifth place was under threat by Thierry Neuville as their gap was at 1,2 seconds at the end of Stage 15, but the Frenchman increased their margin at the end of SS16 as he was the fastest driver in thta stage.
Ott Tanak finished sixth overall and gained one position today after Neuville's puncture in Stage 17.
Thierry Neuville dropped from sixth to seventh place overall as he suffered from a front left puncture on the penultimate stage of Rally Islas Canarias resulting in losing more than one minute there.
Gregoire Munster finished outside the top ten and is the best M-Sport Ford driver as Josh McErlean went wide and hit an armco at 4.9Km into SS14.
Sami Pajari did not restart today under the SuperRally regulations following by his retirement in Stage 12.
