Rally Portugal - 1st Day: Evans beats Ogier and Tanak for 0,2s in SS1



At the end of the first day, Elfyn Evans takes an early lead with Sebastien Ogier and Ott Tanak following him.

Elfyn Evans was the fastest driver in Stage 1 resulting in taking an early advantage at Rally de Portugal.

Sebastien Ogier and Ott Tanak set an identical time in Stage 1, but the Frenchman was faster than Tanak for some thousandths of a second, therefore he is second overall.

Adrien Fourmaux follows for two tenths of a second and kept his teammate Thierry Neuville behind for 0,2 seconds.

Kalle Rovanpera sits in sixth position overall and is 1,3 seconds behind the championship leader Evans.

Takamoto Katsuta, Sami Pajari, Martins Sesks and Gus Greensmith complete the top 10.

Gregoire Munster and Josh McErlean are outside the top ten.
