At the of Friday morning, Adrien Fourmaux is leading Rally Italia Sardegna with Thierry Neuville and Sebastien Ogier following him.
Adrien Fourmaux stormed into the lead of Rally Sardinia at the end of Stage 3 by setting the fastest time there.
Thierry Neuville does the 1-2 for Hyundai Motorsport and slipped behind his teammate at the end of Stage 3. Moreover, he was ahead of Tanak for one second at the end of SS2 despite the fact that the engine of his i20N stalled there.
Sebastien Ogier spoils the party for Hyundai Motorsport as he completes the top three while he was the fastest driver in Stage 1. At the end of Stage 2, he dropped four places and was fifth overall.
Ott Tanak comes right behind the Frenchman for 0,9 seconds and was the fastest driver in SS2.
Sami Pajari was third overall at the end of SS2, but he dropped two places in Stage 3 as he suffered from a front right puncture.
Takamoto Katsuta follows the Finn driver for 4,5 seconds.
Kalle Rovanpera and Elfyn Evans do the 7-8 for Toyota Gazoo Racing as they were the drivers who opened the roads on this loop.
Josh McErlean was forced to retire in Stage 2 with a suspension damage.
Martins Sesks rolled his Ford Puma Rally1 in Stage 2 and was not able to continue.
Gregoire Munster was forced to retire at the end of Stage 2 as he and Louis Louka could not fix the broken rear right steering arm of their Puma.
