At the end of Saturday morning, Sebastien Ogier remains out in front with Ott Tanak and Kalle Rovanpera following him.
Sebastien Ogier slipped behind Tanak at the end of Stage 8, as the Frenchman had to slow down due to Fourmaux's dust. The stawards gave to him a notional time and took back the lead at the end of Stage 9. Furthermore, he was the fastest driver in Stage 7 and managed to increase his lead over Tanak for 11 seconds.
Ott Tanak is 15 seconds behind Ogier and stormed into the lead at the end of SS8. He was very lucky in Stage 9 as he suffered from a rear left puncture and did not lose too much time compared to Rovanpera.
Kalle Rovapera completes the top three while he stole Sami Pajari's fourth place at the end of SS7.
Sami Pajari keeps his fourth place overall since yesterday, but his intention was not to fight back against Rovanpera. He had a lucky escape in Stage 9 as he ran a little bit wide.
Elfyn Evans follows his teammate for over one minute.
Takamoto Katsuta is now in sixth position overall and had a big moment in Stage 7 at a bump as the car was thrown up and almost into a bank.
Adrien Fourmaux dropped from second to seventh overall at the end of Stage 8 due to a front left puncture and stopped to change the wheel. His morning worsened also in Stage 9 as he hit a rock and went straight into the forest. However, he managed to get going again, but he was running off the road after a jump and dropped even behind the leaderboard.
Thierry Neuville, Gregoire Munster and Josh McErlean restarted today under the SuperRally regulations.
Neuville had a loose brake cooling pipe in Stage 7 while Munster mentioned at the end of SS8 that he had no brakes.
Martins Sesks was forced to retire from Rally Sardinia following his roll in Stage 2 while he may not compete in Greece as the chassis of his Puma is heavily damaged.
