At the end of Friday morning, Adrien Fourmaux clims the order with Kalle Rovanpera and Sami Pajari following him.
Adrien Fourmaux stole Kalle Rovanpera's lead at the end of Stage 3 and set the fastest time in Stage 2 resulting in reducing their gap to 0,4 seconds at the end of SS2. Also, he set the fastest time in Stage 4.
Kalle Rovanpera slipped behind Fourmaux at the end of Stage 3 and was the fastest driver on the opening stage of Friday.
Sami Pajari holks his third place at the end of Friday morning and left Thierry Neuville behind for four tenths of a second.
Thierry Neuville moved up to fourth from sixth overall at the end of Stage 3 and mentioned oversteer with his i20N.
Elfyn Evans completes the top five and is behind Neuville for 0,9 seconds at the end of Stage 4.
Ott Tanak lost two places and dropped to sixth overall in Stage 3 as he did not feel comfortable with his i20N Rally1. He lost the front splitter of his i20N as he had an excursion at the start of Stage 3. Last but not least, it must be mentioned that he was ahead of Evans for 0,8secons at the end of Stage 2, but they swapped positions in Stage 3.
Sebastien Ogier dropped to eighth position overall at the end of SS2, as he suffered from a rear right puncture, but he managed to respond back and to take one place back by setting the fastest time in Stage 3 despite the fact that he had no spare wheels.
Josh McErlean and Takamoto Katsuta complete the top nine.
McErlean had a puncture and overshot a junction as he missed a braking point in Stage 3 resulting in dropping behind Ogier on the classification.
On the other hand, Katsuta got a front left puncture in Stage 1resulting in dropping 45,8 seconds there. Moreover, the Japanese star hit a bank and stalled his Yaris in Stage 3.
Gregoire Munster is outside the top ten as he was forced to stop just 900 meters into Stage 1 due to a broken steering arm. He and Louis Louka managed to fix their Puma and were able to continue, but the crew got a puncture in Stage 2 and a 40-second time penalty for checking four minutes late at the stop control of SS2.
