CER - 3rd Day - 2nd Loop: Rovanpera in control, Tanak overtakes Evans for the 2nd place



At the end of Saturday, Kalle Rovanpera consolidates his lead at Central European Rally with Ott Tanak and Elfyn Evans following him.

Kalle Rovanpera builds a safety net around his lead at Central European Rally as his difference from the second Ott Tanak is at 36,3 seconds.

Tanak moved ahead of Elfyn Evans at the end of Stage 12 as he was he fastest driver there despite the fact that he was worried at the stage end due to a strange noise from transmissions.

Evans slipped behind Tanak for 1,9 seconds at the end of SS12 and his target is to avoid any necessary risks as he is currently leading the championship as the provisional standings show.

Takamoto Katsuta keeps his fourth position overall and managed to increase further his gap from the fifth Adrien Fourmaux as he set the fastest time in SS13.

Sami Pajari has been chased by Thierry Neuville on Saturday afternoon as their gap is at 31,9 seconds with four stages remaining until the end of CER.

Τhe Belgian driver was the fastest driver in Stage 14 and completed his day in style.

Josh McErlean is still in eighth position overall and touched a bank with the rear left of his Puma after running wide in Stage 14.

Gregoire Munster remains outside the top ten following his restart under the SuperRally regulations.
