Lancia confirms the engine specs of Ypsilon HF Integralle Rally2

The Lancia Ypsilon Integralle Rally2 marks the legendary brand’s return to rallying, blending the spirit of its historic Delta Integrale with the engineering sophistication required by the modern Rally2 category. Built by Stellantis Motorsport, the car transforms the new-generation Ypsilon into a fully fledged competition machine designed to excel across gravel, tarmac, and snow.

Under the hood lies a 1.6-liter turbocharged inline-four engine, developed to meet FIA Rally2 regulations and delivering around 290–300 horsepower and 430 Nm of torque, depending on restrictor size and engine mapping. Power is sent to all four wheels through a five-speed Sadev sequential transmission, paired with an active center differential and mechanical limited-slip differentials at the front and rear—components that together ensure maximum traction and stability under all conditions.

The chassis has been extensively reinforced with a high-rigidity tubular roll cage, bringing the car up to competition safety and stiffness standards. The suspension uses MacPherson struts on all four corners, long-travel rally dampers from Reiger or Öhlins, and fully adjustable settings for compression, rebound, and ride height. The lightweight forged suspension arms, interchangeable anti-roll bars, and optimized 40:60 front-to-rear weight balance help the Integralle Rally2 achieve exceptional handling on every surface.

Braking performance is equally sophisticated, with 355 mm ventilated discs and four-piston calipers for tarmac events, and 300 mm discs for gravel. The car rides on 18-inch wheels for tarmac and 15-inch wheels for gravel, fitted with FIA-homologated rally tyres designed for maximum grip and durability.

Aerodynamically, the Integralle Rally2 features widened composite fenders, a functional two-element rear wing, optimized cooling ducts, and a reinforced under-floor skid plate. Thanks to lightweight materials and a stripped-out interior, the car stays close to the FIA minimum weight of 1,210 kg.

Inside, a motorsport-grade Bosch ECU, advanced telemetry systems, and a rally steering wheel with integrated controls complete the race-ready package. Every system—engine, suspension, aerodynamics, electronics—has been engineered for precision and reliability, ensuring that the Ypsilon Integralle Rally2 is not just a nostalgic tribute but a competitive force in modern rallying.

With this car, Lancia signals a powerful comeback. It channels decades of rallying heritage into a technologically advanced platform, proving that the brand’s motorsport legacy is not only alive but ready for a new chapter—one that may once again place Lancia at the forefront of the international rally scene.
