Jari-Matti Latvala’s company has acquired Printsport Racing, the team with which Sami Pajari and Oliver Solberg won the WRC2 championship in 2024 and 2025 respectively.
The sporting director of Toyota Gazoo Racing World Rally Team, Jari-Matti Latvala, has purchased the leading WRC2 outfit, Printsport Racing. The Finnish motorsport team has worked closely with Toyota and has competed with the Toyota GR Yaris Rally2 since the 2024 season. The 2024 campaign marked the year Toyota homologated and introduced the GR Yaris Rally2 in the WRC2 category. Printsport Racing announced Sami Pajari as its driver for that season, and the young Finn went on to secure the WRC2 title. As a result, Toyota moved quickly to sign Pajari for a fifth GR Yaris Rally1 entry in its top-class WRC lineup for 2025. Printsport Racing then replaced Pajari with Oliver Solberg, who went on to claim his first WRC2 championship title in 2025. For the second consecutive year, Toyota Gazoo Racing WRT promoted a WRC2 driver to the top category, as Solberg secured a full-time program with the Japanese manufacturer for the current season. The acquisition of Printsport Racing by Latvala’s company, JML-WRT, was completed on December 23, 2025. The team has not yet announced its driver lineup for the 2026 season.
"For me, Printsport Oy was a natural choice to acquire", Latvala said.
"Printsport has proven its expertise and the professional, passionate approach of the company’s personnel combined with a strong competitive spirit is something I have always admired".
