At the end of Thursday, Oliver Solberg leads Safari Rally Kenya with Elfyn Evans and Sebastien Ogier following him.
Oliver Solberg set a fastest time in Stage 1 and is leading Safari Rally Kenya since then as Elfyn Evans is 33,3 seconds behind the first one.
Sebastien Ogieris in third position overall and set the fastest time in Stage 2 as he beat Sami Pajari for 0,4 seconds there.
Takamoto Katsuta's race did not start in a positive way as he suffered from intercom issues in Stage 1. However, he managed to end his day in fourth place overall while he was behind Ogier for 6,4 seconds at the end of SS1.
Sami Pajari does the 1-2-3-4-5 for Toyota Gazoo Racing and was very close in taking the stage win in SS2.
Thierry Neuville follows the Finn driver for 15,5 seconds and is the best driver for Hyundai Motorsport.
Jon Armstrong stole the seventh place from Adrien Fourmaux at the end of Stage 2 and was again faster than his teammate.
Esapekka Lappi completes the top nine as he had two half spins and a two-wheel moment in Stage 1 and 2 respectively.
Josh McErlean is outeside the top ten and completed Stage 2 on road mode.
All Hyundai drivers and McErlean had a high water tempereture alert in Stage 2 while Lappi had also an oil temperature alert in that stage.
