At the end of Friday morning, Oliver Solberg remains the rally leader in Kenya with Elfyn Evans and Sebastien Ogier following him.
Oliver Solberg managed his gap over his rivals and remains in the first position overall despite an overshoot he had in a junction of Stage 4.
Elfyn Evans keeps his second place overall and revealed at the end of Stage 5 that he suffered from brake issues in Stage 4.
Sebastien Ogier follows his teammate for 9,4 seconds and managed to be quicker than Evans in Stage 6 despite his late front right puncture. Moreover, he was the fastest driver in Stage 4.
Takamoto Katsuta is still fourth overall and stayed out of trouble throughout Friday morning.
Sami Pajari does the 1-2-3-4-5 for Toyota Gazoo Racing and set the fastest time on the final two stages of Friday morning. However, he had a rear right puncture after a landing in Stage 6.
Thierry Neuville managed to stay in front of the seventh Adrien Fourmaux as the first one increased their gap from 3,2 to 4,3 seconds at the end of Stage 6. Also, the Belgian driver stalled the engine of his i20N and lost almost six seconds in Stage 4 while he suffered from a rear left puncture in Stage 5.
Jon Armstrong slipped behind Fourmaux at the end of Stage 4 for 4,6 seconds and is now eighth overall.
Esapekka Lappi completes the top nine and was struggling to find pace with his i20N on Friday morning.
Josh McErlean is still outside the top ten and had a water temperature alert in Stage 4. The problems continued for him in Stage 5 as he lost the power of his Puma in SS5. However, he set the fourth-fastest time in Stage 6.
Stage 3 was cancelled due to muddy conditions.
