At the end of Sunday, Sebastien Ogier is the winner of this year's Rally Islas Canarias with Elfyn Evans and Sami Pajari following him.
Sebastien Ogier takes his first win of the season and tolerated Oliver Solberg's pressure on the first two Sunday stages as the Frenchman had a 2,2-second lead over his teammate at the end of Stage 16. Moreover, it must be mentioned that Ogier complained about the balance of his car in Stage 15, but he set the fastest time in Stage 17.
Elfyn Evans finished in second position overall and scored the ten maximum points on Sunday as he was the fastest driver in Powerstage and topped the SuperSunday standings for two seconds over Ogier.
Sami Pajari secured his fourth cosecutive podium in 2026 as he moved up to third place overall after the end of Stage 17.
Takamoto Katsuta does the 1-2-3-4 for Toyota Gazoo Racing WRT and was not able to decrease his gap from the third Pajari on Sunday.
Adrien Fourmaux completes the top five and is the top driver for Hyundai Motorsport for one more time. Furthermore, he was gived a 10-second time penalty in Powerstage due to jump start.
Thierry Neuville passed Dani Sordo for 10,9 seconds at the end of Stage 15 and finished sixth overall.
Sordo dropped some seconds in Stage 16 as he got a slow front left puncture, but managed to get to the finish line of Rally Islas Canarias despite the fact that his last outing at the top level was Acropolis Rally Greece 2024.
Josh McErlean completes the top eight and is the best driver for M-Sport Ford.
Jon Armstrong remained outside the top 10.
Oliver Solberg pressured Ogier as the Swede driver set the fastest time in Stage 15 and 16 resulting in being on the first place at SuperSunday Standings after SS16. However, he clipped a barrier in Stage 17 and the front right wheel was off the car which means that it was game over for him. He retired 14,7Km into SS17 and this is his third mistake in a row.
