Official: Solans to compete with 2C Competition in Spain in place of injured Loubet

Nil Solans will take the place of Pierre-Louis Loubet and he will participate in the upcoming Rally Spain with the private team 2C Competition and with the Hyundai i20 Coupe WRC.

Loubet announced earlier this week that he was involved in a car accident resulting in injuring his hip and in being forced to undergo a surgery.

In fact he said via his social media that he has to skip Rally Spain and Rally Monza as he has to recover from his surgery.

Therefore 2C Competition would have had no driver for the two remainings rounds of WRC, so it decided to replace Loubet and Nil Solans will be his replacement only for Rally Spain while it is yet to confirm which driver will take part in Rally Monza.

Solans will have alongside him in Spain the former co-driver of Dani Sordo, Marc Marti, and they are currently running in ERC.

It will be the first time for the Spaniard driver in a WRCar, but he mainly had took part in WRC2 [2018-2019] and in WRC3 [2017].
