M-Sport withdraws Fourmaux's entry in Greece after Ypres crash



M-Sport Ford announced today that Adrien Fourmaux and Alex Coria will not take part in Acropolis Rally Greece after their crash at Ypres Rally Belgium, but they will participate in recce.

The French crew went off the road 1.9 Km into Stage 19 as they ran off into a ditch and the car got heavy damage to the front end.

However, even though Acropolis Rally will he held in two weeks, M-Sport Ford mechanics are not able to repair and to prepare Fourmaux's Puma for this rally, therefore the British team will bring only five Rally1 cars instead of six.

"Due to his accident on Ypres Rally, it is not possible for the team to repair Adrien Fourmaux’s car in time for Acropolis Rally", a state said.

"Unfortunately it means Adrien and Alex will not compete in Greece, the crew will travel there to take part in recce in preparation for the future".
