CER - 2nd Day - 1st Loop: Ogier holds his lead as Evans had a small off



At the end of Friday morning, Sebastien Ogier extended further his lead with Kalle Rovanpera and Ott Tanak following him.

Sebastien Ogier managed to increase further his lead over the second Kalle Rovanpera by setting the fastest time in Stage 5.

Kalle Rovanpera is 3,9 seconds behind his teammate at the end of Friday morning while their gap was at 0,6 seconds at the end of SS4.

Ott Tanak gained three places since yesterday and is now third overall being the best Hyundai driver.

Elfyn Evans climbed to fourth position overall despite his time penalty yesterday and was very lucky in Stage 5 as he had a small off.

Takamoto Katsuta remains fifth overall and left Adrien Fourmaux behind for 2,9 seconds. 

Fourmaux was n third position overall until the end of Stage 4 and lost three places in Stage 5.

Sami Pajari, Thierry Neuville and Josh McErlean complete the top 9.

Neuville lost more than one minute in Stage 5 due to rear right puncture while he hit a bank after a jump on the right side in the same stage. He was fifth overall at the end of Stage 4 as he lost his fourth place from Tanak.

Gregoire Munster was forced to retire in Stage 5 as he hit a bank resulting in having a double puncture and damaging the rear right suspension of his Puma.
