CER - 3rd Day - 1st Loop: Dominant Rovanpera takes the lead after Ogier's exit [+video]



At the end of Saturday morning, Kalle Rovanpera is the leader of Central European Rally with Elfyn Evans and Ott Tanak following him.

Kalle Rovanpera stole Sebastien Ogier's lead at the end of Stage 9 as he was the fastest driver in Stage 9 and 10.

Elfyn Evans remains ahead of the third Ott Tanak, but the last one will give a fight with Evans for the second place on the afternoon as their gap is at 1,3 seconds.

Takamoto Katsuta was closer to Evans and Tanak at the end of Friday, but he lost ground compared to them on Saturday morning. Moreover, it must be mentioned that Katsuta set the fastest time in SS11.

Adrien Fourmaux completes the top five and is 28,4 seconds behind Katsuta.

Sami Pajari sits in sixth position overall and kept Thierry Neuville behind for 50,8 seconds as the Belgian was faster than Pajari in Stage 10.

Josh McErlean is now eighth overall and is the best M-Sport Ford driver.

Gregoire Munster restarted under the SuperRally regulations today and had two spins in Stage 9 and 10.

Sebastien Ogier lost his lead from Rovanpera at the end of Stage 9 for 0,7 seconds, but the Frenchman was forced to retire in Stage 10 when heundersteered into a tree on the outside and hit hard into the front left side of his Yaris 18Km in SS10.
