Lancia confirms that it will enter in WRC2 class from 2026 by posting a revelant video on X.
Lancia is working on Ypsilon Rally2 HF some time ago and confirmed this car a couple of months ago. The Italian car brand managed to homogate its Rally2 car before the start of the 2026 WRC season which means that we will see Lancia running an Ypsilon Rally2 HF from next year's Rallye Monte Carlo. However, it must be mentioned that it was rumored that Lancia would lead Stellantis's WRC2 plan, thus we do not know yet if Citroen will stay or leave from World Rally Championship at the end of this season.
Lancia enters the race. Welcome to WRC2.
