As the championship heads to the final WRC round of the season, Elfyn Evans can clinch his maiden title in World Rally Championship, but how the Welshman can become a WRC Champion at Rally Saudi Arabia?
Elfyn Evans is heading to Rally Saudi Arabia with a three-point and a 24-point advantage over Sebastien Ogier and Kalle Rovanpera respectively. Evans must outscore Rovanpera by eleven points in order to beat him and to have the chance to clinch his maiden title in World Rally Championship. However, his main rival is Ogier. Ogier will become a WRC champion for ninth time in his career if he wins and scores at least zero points in Saudi Arabia while Evans finished second overall and scores at least four points on Sunday. In this case, both of them will have identical points, but Ogier will become the 2025 WRC season as he has more wins and podium finishes than his teammate. On the other hand, Evans will become the 2025 WRC Champion if he outscores Ogier by 32 points which means that the Welshman must win and score at least four points on Sunday. In general, Evans can win the championship if he will finish ahead of Ogier on the overall classification, in Powerstage and at SuperSunday.
