Rally Saudi Arabia - 3rd Day - 2nd Loop: Fourmaux retakes his lead over Sesks on a chaotic afternoon



At the end of Friday, Adrien Fourmaux holds a tiny lead over Martins Sesks as Thierry Neuville completes the top three.

Adrien Fourmaux managed to retake his lead from Martins Sesks at the end of Stage 14 despite his front left puncture there. The Frenchman made also a mistake in a staright of Stage 12.

Martins Sesks comes right behind Fourmaux for 2,4 seconds while he was leading Rally Saudi Arabia at the end of Stage 13. However, a rear left puncture in Stage 14 led him to slip behind Fourmaux on the classification, but he was the fastest driver in Stage 13.

Thierry Neuville climbed from the fifth to the third pace at the end of Stage 14 taking advantage over his rivals' problems on Friday afternoon.

Takamoto Katsuta is in fourth position overall and lost time in Stage 12 when he had an overshoot and had to reverse to get going again, but he suffered from a front puncture as well.

Kalle Rovanpera moved ahead of the sixth Sebastien Ogier for 0,2 seconds by setting the fastest time in Stage 14. His afternoon was tough as Rovanpera ran wide and touched a sandbank with his Yaris in Stage 12.

Ogier slipped behind Rovanpera for 0,2 seconds as the Frenchman suffered from a rear right puncture in Stage 14.

Sami Pajari dropped from third to eighth overall at the end of Stage 13 due to a front left puncture, but he gained one position and is now seventh. Moreover, the young Finn heard something from the rear of his Yaris in Stage 12 while he shared the third place with Tanak at the end of Stage 12.

Elfyn Evans was back to ninth after Munster's brief stop in Stage 13 and managed to stay out of trouble in Stage 14 resulting in being eighth at the end of Friday afternoon.

Gregoire Munster had a brief stop in Stage 13 and slipped behind Evans on the classification while he stopped to change a wheel in Stage 14. He is in ninth position overall after the end of Stage 14.

Josh McErlean is eleventh position overall and stopped to change a front left puncture in Stage 13.

Ott Tanak dropped from fourth to fifth overall after his stopping to change a wheel in Stage 13, but he lost seven positions in Stage 14 due to a rear left puncture. The Estonian is behind McErlean for 33 seconds while he set the fastest time on the opening Friday afternoon stage which put him on the fight for the lead.

Nasser Al-Attiyah got a front left puncture and lost the rear bumper of his Puma in Stage 12 while he faced powersteering issues in Stage 14. The driver from Qatar enjoyed the SS14 saying that he did not have anyone in front of him on the road.
