Rally Islas Canarias - 1st Day: Katsuta outpaces Pajari for 0,4s, Dapra 3rd



At the end of Thursday, Takamoto Katsuta tops the overall classification at Rally Islas Canarias with Sami Pajari and Roberto Dapra following him.

Takamoto Katsuta was the fastest driver on the superspecial stage, which was held on Thursday, and leads Rally Islas Canarias as he left behind his teammate Sami Pajari for four tenths of a second.

Roberto Dapra from WRC2 follows the Toyota duo and is in third position overall.

Dani Sordo is the leading Hyundai driver as he sits fourth overall despite the fact that it had been almost two years since his last appearance at the top level.

Josh McErlean completes the top five and is just two tenths of a second behind Sordo.

Adrien Fourmaux and Sebastien Ogier set identical pace in Stage 1, but the Hyundai driver was faster for some thousandths of a second, so he is in sixth place.

Thierry Neuville, Elfyn Evans and Oliver Solberg complete the top ten.

Jon Armstrong is outside the top ten and was beaten by his teammate as the first one was usually the fastest driver for M-Sport Ford.
