At the end of Friday morning, Sebastien Ogier is the new rally leader at Islas Canarias with Sami Pajari and Elfyn Evans following him.

Sebastien Ogier grabbed the lead of Rally Islas Canarias at the end of Stage 2, as he set the fastest time there, while he managed to increase his gap from his teammates with a second stage win in SS4.

Sami Pajari moved up to the second place at the end of Stage 4 and is behind the nine-time WRC Champion for 5,9 seconds.

Elfyn Evans comes right behind Pajari for only one tenth of a second and gained two positions at the end of Stage 4.

Oliver Solberg keeps the fourth position overall since the end of Stage 2 and generally earned six places in SS2 since Stage 1.

Takamoto Katsuta dropped to fifth overall after Stage 4 which means that he lost four positions in total as he was the rally leader at Rally Islas Canarias at the end of Thursday.

Dani Sordo remains the leading driver for Hyundai Motorsport as he sits in sixth position.

Adrien Fourmaux is seventh overall and left Thierry Neuville behind for nine tenths of a second.

Josh McErlean and Yohan Rossel complete the top ten.

Jon Armstrong is eleventh overall and had a moment in Stage 4 as he ran wide off the road and had to turn around in order to return back to the road.
