What car problems did Suninen face on Friday afternoon?

Teemu Suninen reveals what problems his Hyundai i20N Rally1 faced on Friday afternoon at Rally Chile which led him to lose the rally lead over Ott Tanak.

Suninen stormed into the lead of Rally Chile at the end of Stage 4 after his setting the fastest time there as Elfyn Evans lost two places in that stage resulting in slipping behind the first one and Ott Tanak. However, the Finn dropped to second overall after the end of Stage 5, as his M-Sport rival was the quickest driver on the final two stages of Friday afternoon, but Suninen did not give an explanation why he was losing time. According to what he said to DirtFish, his i20N had a radiator lead and no hybrid power which means that these issues had an impact to his rhythm in SS5 and SS6 as he could not push at the maximum.

"We got a radiator leak and lost the hybrid so there was quite a lot of issues", Suninen said.

"But luckily we managed those problems and we are here.

"I got the feeling there was some places where I could go faster, but I need to remember everything was new for us, and no-one can make perfect corners".
